My dr. put me on A LOT of antibiotics at once and my stomach just cant handle it. He told me to keep it up but I literally can't swallow another pill (bad burning in my throat and stomach) I want to try another dr. and treatment plan. I really want to go totally herbal, antibiotics always destroys my stomach. Which one has worked the best for you?

Myself, I refuse to take doxy ever again. The nausea is torture. I have tolerated most other antibiotics fairly well - incl Biaxin, minocycline, azithromycin, tetracycline, Omnicef, ceftin, plaquenil, Tindamax, penicillin, rifampin. Important to take with food and plenty of water unless you are told must be taken on empty stomach.
Interestingly, the problem I have with minocycline and tetracycline is that they give me ravenous appetite and food cravings which are uncontrollable. Then my LLMD would scold me for gaining weight!!!!
Hope others will comment about herbals. I have tried a few. All were tolerable except for cryptolepis which was like drinking gasoline.
