3/4 cup butter, softened 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 2 cups sugar (i half this, and use part honey and cane sugar) 2 large eggs 3 cups flour (i use half whole grain and half white) 1 cup sour cream 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (i double) 2-2 1/2 cups frozen blueberries, dusted with sugar (i leave out the dusting)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. 2. In very large mixing bowl, cream butter and cream cheese with mixer on medium speed until creamy and blended. 3. Add sugar, sour cream and vanilla. 4. Mix until fluffy. 5. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. 6. In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. 7. Add gradually to butter/cream cheese mixture; and blend well. 8. Add blueberries; stir only to distribute. Batter will be very (very) thick. 9. Put batter into two greased and floured loaf pans. 10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 11. Cool in loaf pans for 10 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool.
my additions to this recipe are in parenthesis , plus i add lemon juice and some cinnamon.

Sounds at least "fabulous"-- kind of a 'dessert loaf"... I will try it someday soon-- I printed out your instructions..
I make almost all my own bread-- I even grind the wheat berries-- (and put rice or other grains, all organic, in there too, along with various herbs. I can't give you a recipe, since I just kind of "go at it", and don't always use the same ingredients. It's often "stupendous", almost all the rest of the time, "fabulous", and never less than "really, really good"!-- however, it's not always the sweetest bread you've ever seen,...
As far as gardens go, we didn't do as well-- animals ate EVERYTHING; the tops off the tomatoes, peppers, rosemary, I think it was. (the latter may have been a soil problem...) Thanks again! DaveS
