Anyone who needs help... you can post here or email me
here are some more questions that may help to resolve and isolate a problem when trying to find someone to help you:
When did the problem occur? Has it happened before? What were you doing when it happened? Have you installed any software or hardware before the problem began? Are you up to date with all your virus and spyware protection? IS your fire wall up? What is the nature of your problem? What system are you using? What (I.E. windows 95, 98, ME, XP .. ETC..) What brand computer is it MAC, PC; Generic or Compaq, DEll?
Microsoft updates need to be done regularly for software fixes..
Always when working on computers the current version of what ever you are having a problem with and details of the problem are essential to resolving a problem.
Have you run a spyware removal utility?
These two spyware scanners are free and if you run them every week they will keep your problems to a minimum:
Adaware SE by lavasoft download here:
Click here for Adaware SE download when a window pops up click on save then save to desktop and double ckick on the icon to run once it is downloaded.
Many times problems are a result of not updating a software program since new viruses and spyware are constantly being created to impede the function of software programs. Updates are essential to maintaining and keeping a computer functioning properly.

OK here's a really geeky question...I leave my Mac(OS 10.3.9) asleep for prolonged periods of time.
It's what's called 'deep sleep' the hard drive is off and the screen is asleep.
I think nobody can access it thru my router then...others say they could get recent stuff off the RAM even with the hard drive not rotating.
Who is right?
