Anyone who needs help... you can post here or email me

here are some more questions that may help to resolve and isolate a problem when trying to find someone to help you:

When did the problem occur?
Has it happened before?
What were you doing when it happened?
Have you installed any software or hardware before the problem began?
Are you up to date with all your virus and spyware protection?
IS your fire wall up?
What is the nature of your problem?
What system are you using?
What (I.E. windows 95, 98, ME, XP .. ETC..)
What brand computer is it MAC, PC; Generic or Compaq, DEll?

Microsoft updates need to be done regularly for software fixes..

OK here's a really geeky question...I leave my Mac(OS 10.3.9) asleep for prolonged periods of time.

It's what's called 'deep sleep' the hard drive is off and the screen is asleep.

I think nobody can access it thru my router then...others say they could get recent stuff off the RAM even with the hard drive not rotating.

Who is right?

Charlie

I have the windows xp and use thunderbird mozilla for e-mail. Recently it takes forever and a day to send a simple three paragragh, one screen e-mil,,,seems like it never gets gone. DO I need more virus spyware protection for my e-mail??? I get this message from time to time says e-mail protection not fully functioning.

I used the something version of free firewall till I couldnt download new version, kept knocking me off, think I posted more specifics elsewhere on THIS board!!I cant remeber what it was,,,must be too late, brain has gone to bed!!

Thanks for any addiitonal help!!-just don--
