Hi there.

I had a live blood analysis and we discovered some form of parasite that was stealing my hemoglobin.

I've provided some images:

http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/49/slug.png

http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/5415/slug2.png

They're not the best quality as you can see, but you can probably see how the red blood cells are sort of around / in it and they are all dead (don't have the glow).

You can't see the whole of the critter, but when you look at it under the microscope, you can see these things are the exact shape of a slug! It's horrible.

And we found some ''baby'' ones forming of the exact same shape and form too that were stealing the red blood cells, it literally just looked like a little hair or thread worm in my blood and it seems to draw the blood cells too it (and yes, we did multiple checks and smears and the equipment used was 100% clean)

We actually caught one of my white blood cells attacking a parasite in one smear which was really amazing! It literally ate all the bad stuff up!

Does have any experience with whatever that thing is in the pictures? It was in most of the blood smears I had done last week. I know it's a parasite of some form, and we're treating it as if it's a Fluke (as in blood fluke, liver fluke) because they said it is the same shape.

Thanks for reading. I'm freaking out.

I googled Fry Labs and couldn't find anything that looked related.

Any ideas?

Thanks [Big Grin]
