i have a problem with my medication... im sick since 3 years and taking abx since 2 1/2 years nerly constantly.
since 4 weeks i switched my protocol from rifampin+doxy to rifampin+zithromax+ 1xweekly bicillin 1,2mU
since i started the new protocol im feeling like crap.... i look like michael jackson in "thriller"... thin.. not healthy... dark eyerings... lost about 2 kg. i thought it is a herx which will pass in 2 weeks... but now after 4-5 weeks on this protocol i still feeling so crappy... my symptoms are:
- headache - very confused (cant think clearly) - often pale - exhaused - insomnia - no appetite - dark eye rings - memory problems - no energy, motivation
has anybody some expirience with my protocol?? could it be a herx?? before i started this protocol i felt better.. i had bad days too.. but some good days too.. now all days are bad...

I am on zith and rifampin. Since starting, me leg pain has gotton much worse. Hamstrings and calf muscles are very achy and shin bone hurts. Hoping this means the buggers are being snuffed out. Hang in there.

Daniel:
Burrascano's guide states that one should expect a large, prolonged herx reaction after starting Bicillin. It is a very good drug. He said it can last up to 6 weeks.
Hang in there!
