What kind of water does everyone here drink?
Something we do everyday - I'd hate to add more of a burden to my body with toxic agua.

From the sky via the tap - and love my counter top Enviro 10-stage water filter.
There are more sophisticated filtering systems, too.
Be sure to avoid any water (or any liquid) sold in a plastic bottle or a plastic lined can or carton.
If out and about, I would also avoid all water that might come out of a dispenser, such as one that also dispenses colas. They can be breeding grounds for various bacteria, as they are often not cleaned properly.
For travel, a stainless steel or glass container is best. Some glass models have a nice silicone "wrapper" - all just wash out and reuse, over and over. Nothing goes into the landfill (other than your water filter canister once a year).

After purchasing distilled for quite sometime and hauling it... a pain to say the least and the plastic issue to, I bought a reverse osmosis system as it was super reasonable in my town. I love it!

Because of extreme sulfite sensitivity, I cannot drink water filtered through carbon filtration (carbon is usually derived from coconut hulls, which is very highly sulfited). Tap water chlorine also is something I cannot drink. Most RO water filters contain an auxiliary carbon filter because RO does not filter out certain things and thus the need for carbon filtration.
So I have no idea how to get water in any other way besides bottled. I drink Crystal Geyser water (Trader Joe's brand is the same) from the dreaded plastic bottles but I don't know what else to do. I don't get sulfite reactions from this water, but I do get sulfite reactions from every other water I've tried.

It's Poland Springs for me!
Those tap filters don't take out HALF of what you might find in City Water!
But I wouldn't drink distilled because your body needs those minerals.
If you buy Poland Springs in the clear plastic bottle you avoid some of the pcb issues.
Just don't let the bottles get hot, or freeze, as that's what releases the PCBs. In this weather though, I keep 'em in my car, so they're nice and cool when I'm ready for them.

I was buying and hauling jugs of distilled water too for several years. The last few mths I was adding minerals which made it taste like it had been filtered thru dirty socks- blech!
Last month I got a Berky water purifier and I really like it. Cheaper (in the long run) and easier than lugging all those jugs. World of difference in the ph too.

I'd like to get a filter for the city water since it's really good where I'm at but I'm still using Reverse Osmosis Purified water that I refill at my local health food store. I've got the BPA free container and the water is from a local spring. From what I've read it's legit.
But....I thought this documentary was a great eye opener when it comes to drinking water. It's called Tapped and is streamable (no pun intended) on Netflix. Great info. Put me off buying those little plastic bottles of water for good.

Can't go wrong with Michigan water, surrounded by the great lakes. Best tasting water in the US for sure.

I filter my water using reverse osmosis and make sure I get trace minerals.
In my new condo I will be getting another R.O. plus a whole house filter so I won't need to get shower filters anymore.
It's important to filter your shower water so you don't breath the chlorine, etc. You get more nasties in a shower than in drinking it. The skin absorbes stuff too - especially when the pores are open while taking a warm shower.
Not to mention using a toxin free shower curtain (no wonder my friends think I'm nutty) lol

If you think you got it made with glass bottles, tests (Dr.K.) have shown that these bottles for obvious reasons have to be cleaned with strong stuff, but don't get rinsed enough. So we still end up with other chemicals just as bad when accumulating.
We have added fluoride in our public water and that's even worse.
And now we are topping it all off with the Smart Meter spreading more radiation in house and neighborhood.
Wondering where it will end!
