If travel / cost are realities, there are some in U.S. who have gotten such machines, training but that would require a bit more searching and inquiry. -

- Coughing? Just for starters:
* Banish all things fuzzy from your home, especially bed and bathroom - and wardrobe.
Especially fuzzy bathmats need to go, any toilet covers, etc.
A cork bathmat is the best lung health move I've made, in addition to getting rid of all chenille sweaters. A lot of corduroy is also likely to shed (though the smaller wale and older clothes less so). Send it away.
If it makes a lot of fuzz / link in the dryer, that's one sign that it's also sending all kinds of lint into your lungs even just sitting in a room but especially when it's touched or moved.
Aside from sending lint into our lungs, these fuzzy items also collect dust and harbor germs and mold.
This is just one aspect but so very important. Banish the fuzz from all textiles, do-dads.
* Personal care: avoid all powders & sprays.
* Gluten and Dairy can also affect lung in various ways. This is important to know. Peanuts, too. Make note of any foods that seem to trigger phlegm.
* HEPA Filter for vacuum. -

- This is the bathmat I've had for over a dozen years. It's a good now as the day it arrived.

- GINGER capsules can also help breathing. Ginger tea, to an extent (the warm liquid) but capsules offer a fuller therapeutic dose for the lungs.
The tiny licorice pieces in the set below are wonderful to help stop the spasms that can go along with coughing.
