Martijn's word turning point is a good one.
While Lyme has distroyed my former life, i have to say that without it, i would never have met the fantasitic friends that i have now. Even without the disease, we have so much in common. My Lyme buddies keep me smiling every day & i am so grateful for that!
So in a positive way, my word is...
Friendship!

I looked for the unexpected benefits of dealing with lyme disease post but I think it is gone.
So, this is as good as any a place to add those too.
I too am more aware of certain characteristics in some people like:
- kindness
- thoughtfulness
- consideration
It is above and beyond normal.
