But strong bones would not have any significance on the actual Herniated discs ???
Dont you think ?
In fact that may be the exact opposite of what would be needed ???

I don't have any herniated discs,so I haven't researched it nor has my doctor addressed that specifically, but I do have rheumatoid arthritis which destroys the cartilage in joints, collagen in your body etc.
So, I do the things listed above to protect my bones and joints from RA which is an incredibly destructive disease.
It would seem to me that nutrition for your bones would also help your disks.

eric - why not have surgery and fix the problem? The surgery is much better than it used to be - non invasive, smaller incision and quick healing. -p

3 herniated discs, in the neck, they would Fuse all together,
with metal plates and nuts and bolts.
and usually revision suregeries to follow.
success rate not guranteed by any specialists,
never would i have movement in my neck area again...
plus the recovery and pain they say is a lifetime of misery.
and also the extra strain on the adjacent level discs would eventually ruin them due to the extra stress loads.
thus more surgries, a never ending story...

Hi eric--
Before you do anything drastic like that get some Glucosamine Sulfate and take 2000mg per day-
Its as close to Magic as Medicine gets-
I used to crack and pop so loud the sound made a girl I know puke just from the sound of me cracking my neck--
Make sure it says Sulfate on the bottle- Dont buy it at Wal Mart -
Get it at Whole Foods if you live close to one-
cost about $18 or so for 180 pills--45 day supply-
I live close to whole foods so if you want me to get it for you I will and Mail it to you- --Jay--

Eric,
Prolotherapy can work wonders for these problems! It has saved my body so many times. Go to: getprolo.com, and there are listings of doctors that do it, and tons of articles on it. It's been done successfully since the '40's. Do read up on it at that site, as you will understand more about why it helps so well. Of course, your Lyme & "company" must be treated, or the problem will recur somewhat.
You can PM me, if you want; I know a lot about which doctors are good and not for this.

Eric, a chiropractor I know puts people on the Vivatek machine when they have disc problems. People report feeling better. I've not talked with any Lyme patients per se, though.
Google for it and see what you think. Usually it's chiropractors who have the machine.

If mycobacteria (Bb, bartonella, etc) is causing the problem, what will be the effect of taking supplements?
Eric, I can't recall from your other posts if you have a clinical diagnosis? Blood test results?

my blood work only showed one band lyme 23 present, and very high numbers of hhv6 and ebv.
labwork was done at labcorp and mdl labs, done a few weeks apart, both labs showed same exact things.
and my mri showed 3 herniated discs in my neck...
which is why i had asked what to do, since im really not sure ???
some of my symptomps are,
ringing in the ears, chronic fatigue, depressed, crackling neck noises, wake up every two hours each night, sometimes neck and head really hurts, neck does get stiff, sometimes sweat at night, take lots of Xanax to relax and sleep.

Eric, the DRX may help for a while -- but it won't help your wallet! Insurance(s) will not cover the expensive treatments ($2000-$4000). Try the antimicrobial approach for a while....stick with it. Try enzymes too...stick with it!
Eric, I asked you this earlier -- can you address this question: "...Eric, I can't recall from your other posts if you have a clinical diagnosis? Blood test results?..."
