I know this can change but after 2 yrs of consistently testing positive for this bacteria, we finally get a negative result and I am so happy about that.
I continue Mepron/Zithromax and multiple herbal protocol for detox, bug death and nutritional building.
I am doing great! Babesia has been my main demon and as many of you know, clearing the ducani strain is very close to impossible.
Much prayer and much effort seems to be paying off.
I am just so elated!

How much mepron were you on? I started with 1/8 tsp and have moved to 1/4 tsp. Still hurts, but when you start very very low and move up slowly, you might be surprised that you begin to tolerate I had terrible zithromax reaction with one pill. Started again 3 days later on 1/8 pill. Then built. Now can tolerate 1/2 pill. Ridiculous this disease!

My doctor also started me on a low dose and built up. I never had any problem (not so far).
I started 1/4 tsp 2x daily and now am at 1 tsp 2x daily.
I have been and continue to take zith at 250mg every other day.
I take a lot of liver support, detox support and eat very healthy. I even take prescription leuvoracan which is a folate to protect the liver.
I am thinking all this support is enabling me to deal with the toxic effects of the medication.
I just have read so much about how hard it is to really kill the ducani (WA-1) strain of Babesia. I even asked one of the doctors in the practice if it was impossible. She said "I wouldn't say impossible......but" and she shrugged her shoulders.
So I have literally prayed over each dose asking God to aim the medicine right at those nasty buggers.
Oh Saskat, you are so right. I am so encouraged and just had to share it with everyone.

Great news!
So do you think it has to be killed off with Mepron, or is it moreso the time on the med that did it? (I am taking Malarone, but I'm hoping if I'm on it long enough it will work)
Which lab did you test negative with?
My last positive was from Sonoma County Public Health Lab. Haven't retested since then, but I know I still have it because I get night sweats still when I change meds around.

This gives me hope too. I recently tested positive to Duncani, am on Malarone, but have had terrible abdominal pains for weeks (which is listed as a possible severe Malarone side effect) but was on Alinia and Biaxin before that, had to go off. I'm so scared that my GI tract can't take it any more - I've been on meds and herbs for five years.
Can you fill is in on the herbs, etc?
I'm so happy for you!
