I did a very popular 30-day parasite product, which gave me phenomenal results parasite-wise.
But now that I am off about 2 weeks, my Lyme symptoms have returned with a vengeance!! Neuropathy. Mood trouble. Swollen glands.
Has anyone experienced a similar effect?
Is this, hopefully, part of the cleansing process overall? I have been detoxing as part of the purge.
I need to stay positive in all this : ) HELP!
Thanks! Maura

I am on a very low, steady dose of Biaxin, which has been very mild on my system. I needed a break from the heavy hitters!
But nothing other than the parasite cleanse has changed recently.

You may be in an egg hatching cycle of a parasitic infection. I've had a very hard time getting rid of parasites. From my experience, about 9 days after I finish treatment I get colon inflammation and the whole thing starts over. You have to kill all the eggs in order to get rid of the infection.
You may want to try going back on the parasitic treatment to see if the symptoms subside.

Wow. Nasty! Thank you Terry. They say that we must wait 90 days between cycles, but I may try an alternative, such as garlic.

mazou,
I have discovered that parasite cleansing is not a one shot deal. These parasites/worms have layed eggs and larva thru the G. I. track.
I have been doing parasite cleansing with antiparasitic herbs and salt/c for over 3 yrs. I do in between herbs also with good results.
You may have stirred up a lot of things so I would suggest you just keep going. Also if you are on abx you might be having some yeast issues.
Cocount oil and alternate kefir and probiotics might be good. You might still have dieoff of parasites that are still circulating. You might want to consider some warm water enemas,

If you are doing Humaworm they suggest you wait 90 days before you do another one.
Terry is right about what she is saying and that's why I suggested the in-between herbs which contain cloves. Cloves is what gets rid of the eggs. So take extra cloves also,

Thank you Gael! Yes it was Humaworm. I really like them, so I didn't want to give any bad press due to my relapse. But information is information, I guess.

So, I think I can ask directly on curezone, but I'll ask here too: what herbs do we need to avoid in the 90-day break from Humaworm?
We are supposedly avoiding some of the parasite herbs so that the parasites don't develop an immunity.

Humaworm has "in between herbs" and other herbs for viruses, bacteria etc. I am currently taking their in between herbs and they are working very well.
I believe the herbs to avoid are wormwood and black walnut hull. The in between herbs have cloves included which is a good thing.
I cook with lots of cayenne, cumin, ginger and cloves. The curezone site is very good to see what other people are doing.
Good Luck and remember persistence is the key. Have U tried any salt/c? (sea salt sends the parasites into osmotic shock and the combo of salt and vit c will help clean you out.

I get cloves from mountainroseherbs. They are great IMO. I grind them and put 1/2 teaspoon in my oatmeal in the morning. Another 1/2 teaspoon later in the day. I work with a lot folks from india, they are always chewing on cloves. The mountainroseherbs remind them of the potency of back in there native country. I think they are about 8 dollars a pound.
I'm guessing there was a lot of parasite reproductive activity during the full moon. This is based on the date of your post.

Remember that the parasites are the knights in shining armor! That's what my doctor calls them. They gobble up the toxic metals to protect themselves and of course you get to keep some of these when the parasites die off. So I would look into metal detoxing. This is what I learned during my lymetime. I posted about the parasites and their habits on one of the current threads about DMSA and Bentonite a day or so ago.
If I remember correctly, parasite cleanses should be repeated every 21 days for several months. Right now during full moon they are copulating and starting their new breed. They love milk!
Take care.

GiGi, ewwwwwwwww! Thanks for the gory details!
I have significant heavy metals exposure, both on the job and through the family gene pool (father ran a plating company - mercury, cadmium, you name it!)
So I am due for a chelation of some kind. Can you refer me to your clay and DMSA thread? I can't seem to find it. Thank you!!
Lymie, thanks for the great info. The clove idea sounds great. And the information in the link was thorough. Thank you!

Its good you posted about parasites role in heavy metals. I forgot about that! Pathogens aren't as cut and dry as we think and that includes candida which will also protect us from metals and toxins for that matter. Our body is incredibly smart organism, if we are toxic with metals it knows how to use pathogens to it's advantage. So our body is saying its better to have the pathogen steal our nutrition and dump its waste then to have heavy metals destroy cellular or neural function.
Gigi if we got rid of all bad metals from our body, how effective is the immune system to get rid of parasites in general terms. My guess, if parasites become entrenched, they are extremely difficult to get rid of and take a good bit of time to do so.
Just a guess about parasites when they lay eggs. When parasites lay eggs we might think they hatch on a monthly cycle not necessarily so, some may hibernate over many months. Like lyme, they may sense danger and continue to hibernate.

Dr. Schulze's Intestinal Cleanse #2 is a great product (I don't sell anything or get money from recommendations). It really pulls out the toxic debris from the intestine. The #1 product is good but it was too strong for me. I didn't really need it.
Hulda Clark suggests an order to doing these cleanses. If I recall correctly it's - parasite, intestine, kidney then liver. It may be helpful to try other cleanses.
Dealing with parasites is an ongoing thing. I'm sure there are many different approaches to it. One cleanse may not get rid of them all. They can be in other areas of the body such as the blood & the lungs - not only the intestine.
The cleanses are a process. You just have to do them regularly. I don't really know if it's good to wait 21 days or 90 days as suggested by Humaworm. I guess you have to judge for yourself if your body needs to get the parasites out or take a break.
Pumpkin seeds are supposed to be helpful for killing parasites, as well.

Here is another old thread where I comment on parasites.
Dr. K. treats parasites with meds that work from small to large. With parasites he prefers what is available from pharma. The big weapon "alinia" comes late, after the albendazoles, etc.
If you search here, I have been telling what I have learned from him for many years. Search "Parasites GiGi" and you will find some of the Klinghardt wisdom passed down.
We cannot live well without some parasites - yes, that was a surprise for me too. We all walk around with about 12 pounds of them - if I remember correctly. So the spanking-clean method is not always a good idea.
Take care.

Thanks for posting this again GiGi, it is most informative. BTW, I had the green and red ones come out of my scalp. Didn't see the eyelashes tho.
This disease is beyond creepy to me. I guess we are not as highly evolved as we think we are. I feel like I have been battling Mega Dragons because they are so fierce and such masters at survival,

Thanks, Gigi, those are great posts. I will read them this evening.
Lymie in md, I really appreciate your description about our bodies being so intelligent. It is easy for me to forget this when so overwhelmed by this and that, but it is absolutely true.
Sparkle, that looks great. I am trying a traditional method right now to do a deep cleanse, but it is really gross, so I may look into what you suggest.
GLM. Your scalp! Oh my dear goodness. I am sorry. Glad they are outta there now.
