Does anyone have ACA associated with lyme? Could anyone give me any information on it based on personal experience? I am in the U.S. and seems nobody here has it, or so my docs have said. I really need any advice and if anyone got better? I have severe peripherial neuropathy and skin wrinkling due to it...and not sure if it will ever subside. Thank you for reading this.

I hear this is much more common with the European strains. Does anyone know if this resolves with treatment? If it is a local reaction to microbes living in the skin, maybe a topical antimicrobial? Or is it autoimmune, like scleroderma?

There are some researhers at Ohio State that beleive Lichen Sclerosis is really a manifestation of ACA (mostly in female genitals) in the US. They found borrelia and treated it with IM bicillin
