I see that a bid has been placed using Euros.
Given that I live in a city that borders Mexico, I feel it is my duty to bid in Pesos.
However, I have no idea what the exchange rate is these days.
000,000,000,000 Pesos? Sounds good to me.
Do I get a discount for having invented the Coinfections back-up singers?

OK there Mitty,
I usually proof read my posts...but did not on this occasion to illustrate to Cave that everyone here makes spelling errors and we should all be forgiving in that respect.
There are times I'll make type o's as well.
By the way...I can multi-task with the dimwitted and still make a contribution on other threads.
You can take that whatever way you wish! It's either here or there.
That abbreviation for etcetera is often errantly typed as ECT....as well.
I figure on this website as long as we can communicate a thought spelling phonetically or otherwise....it's an achievment!
No Mitty if you're NOT who stymie says you are...then I am still not sure who you are...is there some reason WHY you're testing me??
More to the point...should I really G.A.S.?

OK Ole Wally,
Perhaps I missed a clue.....
Perhaps someone changed the game to hide and seek!
However my deduction and diagnosis is that you sir or madam are some type of sociopath...
Your life is soooo boring and uneventful you feel the need to disassociate yourself.
I suggest you seek proper psychiatric care as soon as you morph into a person who will put aside any grandiose megalomaniacal personality flaws and actually listen to someone other than yourself...or your inner self who is really sick!
You may note that I chose sick as opposed to ironic.
This is because you choose to disassociate yourself into a fictional entity who chooses to disassociate himself from his already fictitious personality.

ok ok will start on xmas songs, but gotta get thru halloween first...
Am pleased to announce that I testified as a tick at city hall board of supervisors meeting today on halloween, which gets retelevised a couple times during the week as well.
Getting my pillow-stuffed tick through security was the hardest part. They wanted to open up Tick Shtick to see what was inside of him. I said I didn't think they would be able to find any spirochetes. So he was put thru the xray machine and passed, without passing out. Hardy little thing.
Tick Shtick spoke about being a San Francisco resident, as well as the rest of the world. He said he was thrilled that his best friends, the IDSA, had come out with Lyme/co guidelines that he totally approved of.
And that only his nemeses would think to sign the ILADS petition calling for retraction, or even consider going to see Dr Stricker.
He hoped he had either ticked off or not ticked off the audience, depending on whose side they were on. The board president thanked him for his Educational Public Service Announcement.

Robin, that would be me..LMT-lymemomtooo. I have a lime green tick suit that I wear on occasion. Used it last night to hand out candy..A few were afraid but then I explained and told the little rug rats to make sure they checked for ticks.
We have so many leaves down and the suits were often dragging on the ground. It was a mixture for danger and unwanted tick hitch-hikers.
And our ducks are not swift enough to think Lyme disease. lymemomtooo

LMT -- did you hand out lime candy? Amazing that you'd have to watch out on halloween for ticks! That's a real public service you did. What does your tick costume look like?
Me, I just had a little stuffed tick that no one was too worried about, other than security. Until it started to crawl out of the chambers...

Not sure I can explain it very well. It is large and made of foam rubber covered in lime green felt. In the back it has two staps to use to attach to my body.
It has segmented arms and I also bought lime green gloves and bedroom slippers to use.
I did a separate cap like thing for the head.
Carol calls me Godzilla Tick since she THINKS I got more interest than she did at the rally..Ha..I may have gotten more laughs..She was green with envy..Will let her try it some day and see that it is not very comfortable on one's back.
But the thing that was important then was that the parents and kids came to support Dr. Jones. Nothing else mattered that day. I hope they continue to offer him their support.

If you guys are ready to consider xmas songs, we still need coinfection songs.
Actually, coinfection songs in general. I don't have coinfections, so I cannot type here from personal experience, so help us out...
How about a co to Fever all thru the Night? Cinderella Rockefeller for bartonella? Cecilia for babesia? Rocky Mountain High for RMSF?

Here's a simple song made to order for our topic:
Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam Where the deer and the antelope play Where seldom is heard a discouraging word For we ticks like to bite them all day.
Home, home on the range Where the deer and the antelope play Where seldom is heard a discouraging word For we ticks are so happy all day.

Pet ticks, yeah -- easy to make -- I stuffed Tick Shtick for his testimony at city hall on Tuesday --
Wrapped a small pillow case in 4 small black plastic bags -- tied each bag around with 2 loops resulting; scotchtaped up each loop for tighter, leggier look.
For each subsequent bag wrap-around, poked holes so the previous loops stuck out. Aimed loop locations for where they should basically appear as two little legs each time.
Pet tick wrapping holiday workshops coming soon. 0.00 cost.
