I too was happy with the results and think Cook will go far. Both David's will do well though.

As you talk about Carrie's outfit, the one I found HORRID HORRID was what Jordan Sparks was wearing! Ugh...that was bad news.

Now with Idol over...what ever will we have to pull for and laugh about? It's been fun. Thanks to all that participated in this thread and kept the excitement up.

I agree Carrie's dress was horrid, but I'm so glad to see her out of the numerous big skirted princess outfits....that only goes so far [Roll Eyes]

Carrie's dress was OK.. just way too short. I think if she were to see the playback, she would see why I said that! [Eek!]

But yes, Jordan's dress didn't look good on her. I'm not sure it would look good on anyone. It would make a skinny person look fat! [Razz]

Without double checking, I think she started out on the Arthur Godfrey show when she was a little girl?

I still remember in the '60's how we used to snicker about the "Pips". They added great backup to her wonderful voice, but....

Maybe if the name had been something other than "Pips", they wouldn't have suffered the indignities of it all [Wink]

Ok...I'm obviously missing what you all are watching. I do have a question. There were reports that David Cook's brother with Cancer would be in the audience.

But yet the only brother there appeared to be his other brother...the one that got him to try out for the show. Has anyone heard anything about how ADAM Cook is doing?

Cathy, if you get DISH or Direct TV, there should be a TV Guide Channel. They have interviews and all kinds of stuff about American Idol.

It's great to watch the day after Idol has aired each week.

At my house, it's channel 117 on DISH.

About Carries dress....I think the droopy drapes on the back of it were hideous.
But...don't you all think the cameraman should be at fault for the view?? [confused]
