Great start for the show, Jill! Now what's the idol that grants immunity? And how is it achieved?

Well then, maybe you'll have to publish the Darker Side of Lyme, since most of us haven't been able to look at light. Just throw some dark humor in and you'll be fine. [shake]

So does anybody want to do the creative LymeArts thing anymore? I believe we are up to 17 Lymenut hit song CDs, several Lymenut touring groups, a couple musicals, two operas, one ballet, 3 anaerobic videos,

a googled-out fundraiser for the ducks(bidding either open or closed -- haven't figured out which), Lyme in poetry and literature, Steere Trek or Star Tick episodes, Lyme Survivor show ideas, and...the rest is up to you's all.

How about a Lyme Jeopardy game? Ticks for 200...

I think it would be elegant to get some more Lyme lit going. Titles, rewrites, whatever. Like Moby Tick, All's Ill that Ends Ill, A Midsummer Bite's Dream, Tick and Jane, Tickleberry Finn...And anymore songs is always welcome... [Smile]

Well, it has been a while now since we have
given full vent to the full uncensored creative
force of the lymenuts!

robin, as lymenut executive producer, you are
going to have to franchise the whole thing,
develop a logo, and get some big company to buy us
out. Then we can fund the treatment house for
lymies that tonyz suggested. (whatever happened
to tony?)

Anyway, was just listening to john lennon -- he
was the man!

Picture, a woman singing this to her brain:

Here in some stranger's room,
Late in the afternoon,
What am I doing here at all?
Ain't no doubt about it,
I'm losing you,

Somehow the wires have crossed,
Communication's lost,
Can't even get you on the telephone,
Just got to shout about it,
I'm losing you,

Here in the valley of indecision,
I don't know what to do,
I feel you sliping away,
I feel you sliping away,
I'm losing you,
I'm losing you,

You say your not getting enough,
But I remind you of all that bad stuff,
So what the hell am I supposed to do?
Just put a bandaid on it?
And stop the bleeding now,
Stop the bleeding now,

I know I hurt you then,
But that was way back when,
And well, do you still have to carry that cross?
Don't want to hear about it,
I'm losing you,
I'm losing you.

[Big Grin]

Of course, he was singing that for yoko --
but tonight, I am singing that for my brain!
I am sure that rock and roll is going to be
one of the things that cures me
[Smile]

Hey Vermont -- you are hereby anointed a Lymenut Creative Director...You have the distinction of being the first Lymenut of the new year to remind us of how great American song can reveal our common predicament. I think your lost brain might also sing:

Give me the people who free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock'nroll

We are now franchised as Lymenuts Dys-Inc. Referring to the dysfunctional nature of our collective Lyme/co corpi.

Our logo can be found on our first page near the bottom -- Imanurse's cover for our first Lymenuts CD, with its image of a lime plus some nuts plus some ketes -- sez it all.

We are currently considering the possibility of locating some Big Companies to sponsor the Lymenuts, with proceeds going towards lymietonyz's lifelong dream of a free lymie treatment center. Site location volunteers needed. Speaking of which, where is the zman anywho?

In honor of the full(fool) uncensored creative force of the Lymenuts, we are now initiating the Lymenuts Jeopardy game.

Categories will be unveiled as they become available. I as your hostess will initiate the first category, which is "Ticks". Anyone who wishes to create a category with Q's and A's can pm me and we can run it.

Points: 200/400/600/800/1000. The first person to post the desired answer gets the points, to be applied to frequent flyer miles to the lymietonyz lymie treatment center, wherever it turns out to be. Unclaimed points may be shared amongst those who feel they or someone they know could benefit from going to the lymie treatment center.

Are you r-e--a---d----y????? [Roll Eyes]

Tonight's question is: [confused]

TICKS FOR 200:

What kind of ticks would you expect to find on happy cows?(this is a California kind of question, unless any other state also advertises happy cows -- let me know)

Happy ticks!

OMG -- remember that song "happy talk" from
South Pacific?

Happy ticks keep talking happy ticks,
Talk about things they'd rather bite.

(have to find the rest of lyrics)

[Big Grin]

The tonyz lyme rehabilitation center -- please
make this on a nice beach somewhere!

I thank our first two Lymenut Jeopardy contestants for your par-tic-ipation!

Yes, "happy ticks" would be found on happy cows.

However, I also will accept "mooooooving ticks" on happy cows.

So you both are awarded 200 points, to be applied towards your future stay at tonyz's lymie treatment center.

A third possibility was: cheese ticks. I will donate those 200 points to someone needing future lymie treatment center care.

Vermont, your bonus prize: google lyrics for "Happy Talk" and complete the song. My goodness, we're barely out of the starting gate and we already have a song for an answer.

Magic Acorn, thx for the first Big Logo for the Lymenuts Jeopardy game. Future ones also welcomed...I think your logo could be also suggestive for a tangential answer of "hippie ticks"?

Evolving right along...Vermont has suggested a beach location for the center. Since tonyz lives in Florida, I suggest the beachfront property be somewhere in the SE US.

If we were willing to switch the "lymie" and "treatment" around to Treatment for Lymies Center, we could call it the TLC...

Ok, onto our next question in the Lymenuts Jeopardy game, category "Ticks":

Are you r-e--a---d----y????? [Big Grin]

TICKS FOR 400: [confused]

This tick shows up at lots of events.

Robin,

Since you're in San Francisco, perhaps you could take MagicAcorn's psychedelic logo and put up posters in Haight-Ashbury. It will be a big flashback to the 60s!

Are any of these the answer to the question to ticks that show up at events?

Party Ticks
Celebrity Ticks
Paris Hilton Ticks

Well, contestants for TICKS FOR 400, looks like DocDave got it with tick et. Get it? What kind of tick shows up at lots of events?

But answers are all very cute, so I think everyone else can have half awards of 200 each. Hey, we can be inclusive here.

And Jill(you can also be a Lymenuts Dys-Inc Creative Director for all the ideas you've offered on this site), lol re posting Magic Acorn's poster in the Haight. I could do it with the three oooohs at the top, the pic, and the They're Mooooooooooooving at the bottom.

Then stoned folks will go, Whoa man, did you see that poster? Trippin' ticks, man. Is that a new band?

Ok, we is going to 600 now. Lymenuts Jeopardy game, category Ticks.

Are you r-e--a---d----y????? [Razz]

You guys are getting too fast and good for me...looks like Jill squeezed in first, so 800 points to Jill, but will award Micul a consolation half award prize of 400 points for also getting the correct answer. Mine was spelled Auntie Bio Tick, by the way... I suppose Micul's version, antibio tick, could also refer to a tick that doesn't want its CV known.

Alright, and I believe this is the last in this category, then I have to dream up another set for all you hotshots here...

Robin,

(Or should we call you Alex Tick-beck?)

It's morning and I still can't think of any other solutions to this $1000 Jeopardy. This is a tough one.

Perhaps you could add some audio to this thread, so we could hear the Jeopardy music for inspiration. That wouldn't be too much trouble, would it? [Wink]

Thanks,

Advanced Tick-nology [bonk]

Cute answers all, tho -- we should save them for a future tick jeopardy game...

Scoring:

Vermont: 200 + 200(half of 400) = 400

Magic Acorn: 200 + 200(half of 400) = 400

Stymie: 400

Jill: 200(half of 400) + 800 = 1000

Micul: 600 + 400(half of 800) = 1000

WAY TO GO, GUYS!!!!! [woohoo]

Guess you're either paying for your bicillin, or on your way to tonyz's lymie treatment center, when we can figure out where it is(on the beach somewhere in the SE) and where he is...

I'll dream up another category sometime soon -- if any of you want to make one and run it, it's fun to do, especially to see what you all come up with! [Smile]

Well, now that I see the correct answer, I feel so dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb (sung to the closing melody of the Jeopardy tune!)

Thanks, Robin, for being a great Alex T.

How long a stay will $1,000 pay for at Tony Z's TBD Center? And since it's in Florida, should we avoid any treatments with Doxycycline? (I burned horribly on it in Southern California, so Florida would be probably be worse!)

Thx for playing, Jill!

Tonyz proposed a free lymie treatment center, so your 1000 can go towards transportation. One of us does need to win the lottery...

Maybe a beach in the SE is not such a good idea --maybe a more northern beach could be a little more temperate?

We could have a TLC here if it were Treatment for Lymies Center or Tonyz's Lymie Center. But the zman hasn't awoken out of hibernation to give us his humble opinion...

I like the two answers already, but I'll throw in another one since Jeopardy really should have three contestants.

What is...

Oh, wait, I'm editing this, I just thought of another (OK two submissions breaks the Jeopardy rules,I know)

Thanks VermontLymie and Magic Acorn. Maybe I could go on Jeopardy and win some money to pay for my treatment.

Of course, that would probably be the exact day that I'd have a major case of brain fog!

Well, let's eagerly await our Jeopardy Mistress of Ceremonies, Robin, for the final answer...

Oh, folks, these are really funny answers, but I hope you won't be ticked off as I inform you that I've switched the category! To Lyme! You need to put your thinking caps on and search in the brain fog for Lyme words...

Y'all get another try, sez Robin I'Likes Trybeckoninglymethistime...

Yep, Micul got it. 200 points for Micul!

You would hopefully be feeling sublyme if you had your Lyme symptoms under wraps. Needs an ICD code.

Ok, are you r-e--a---d----y????? [lol]

Well, I know that Micul is correct for Lyme Eyes...and I know the topic is now Lyme (thanks Robin for finally getting that through my thick brain fog!!)...

..but I will add an Eagles Song/Lyme tangent...

When I'm very symptomatic, I'm quite like the Eagles song of "Witchy Woman!!" [Eek!]

And if we open a West Coast branch of Tony Z's TLC, it could be held in the Hotel California! (OK, I'm on Eagles overdose now)

Thanks Jilly for your vote of confidence, but you never know which way Rockin Robin is gonna go!

So hang tight cuz Hotel Lymafornia might get you some points too?

Robin may not be back tonight. I heard something about Doc Dave maybe picking her up in his Lear Jet...... Robin was anxious to get a closer look at his Cavalier Spaniel Trio. Thank goodness the Real Jeopardy comes on in about an hour ! [woohoo]

Wait a minute, our beloved Robin isn't allowed to go have a social life on a Friday night, leaving us stranded in cyberspace!!

I've got plenty of frequent flyer mileage I haven't felt well enough to use. Let's go!

Party at DocDave's!!

This is as interesting for me as it is for you to see who comes up with what...

No lyin' about it, Micul came up with Lyme Eyes, so 400 is yours.

My answer was: Take it to the Lymet.

lol Jill on witchy woman feelings. Mine's usually more like Itchy Woman. Hey, a Lymenuts rewrite there?

Hotel Lymafornia/California -- we got lots of those here. You know who put a great rewrite on here in the beginning who we haven't heard from since is Texas Chaos with her Hotel Duckville rewrite. I call it Hotel Call it Duckville, in honor of the original...

Yeah, DocDave flew out here tonite with his dogs, met Cave and me, and flew back. Next time we'll all meet at Dave's with our frequent flyer points from here...

Ok, onward and upward...

Are you r-e--a---d----y?????

LYME FOR 600: [confused]

A Lyme complaint. [Frown]

Do...
Do...
Do...
Dump....

Morning there Robin !

Take it to the Lymet huh? I didn't think of that one. I thought about using "Lyme In The Fast Lane" tho as a second choice.

Now, a lyme complaint? Could be sooo many things, but I think that I will go with the one that you seem to have, since you are posting at these nocturnal hours.

So my answer is: "What is Lymesomnia"
