Sheri has a long way to go to catch up to TC's....but it was nice she wanted to get involved and support the cause.

I had a dream we would hit 1,000 votes! I did!!!
And this is what I did in my dream .... just like Carl Edwards does when he wins a race!

TC...I think I goofed up when I posted what I thought was the link to your car on FB...
I wrote something like support lyme disease...
But, posted the link for creating a car..
I think that is how the other car got designed by my cousin..
But, my thinking is in pieces now a days so who knows.
All of this has just been plain fun...something most of us can do no matter how limited we are each day.

It's me again! Just voted AGAIN and we are at 1120!! WOW!! The word is getting out!
Now... you know how I feel about "My Tony (Stewart #14)"!!! He just has to get back in the winners circle!!!
Oh... just to let everyone know... we had warm weather here in TN yesterday, and this morning I pulled a tiny little tick off the back of my leg - first one of the new season for me!!
It's in bag - anybody want it???

The thought of that tick TN gives me the hibby jeebies.
Just did a scan of the pages for cars designed....so many have very few votes....so we are looking good.
Can't figure out how to find out which ones are in the top 10

Hey KAM..
You did fine. I am happy to see such a nice car and the talent she has! NEXT time maybe she will help me with a design?
I've never done anything this goofy before.. well, yes I have, of course I have.... but I've never even considered designing a race car.
And you are right. This is just a little bit of plain old fun meant to brighten up a LONG dreary winter.
And the timing for the final selection and big event, May 2010, would be right in time for May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month!
So keep voting and letting us know our new totals. OK?
Hey Jackson... you Tennessee Flower Child you...
You will have to have Stewart run over that little sucker with his big tires! After all, we know how much he loves his Goodyear tires! HA!
That made me laugh when it happened and still makes me laugh!
Gotta love the bad boys of racing! And as long as Mark Martin doesn't have a chance of winning .... I don't mind if Stewart spends a little time in the winner's circle!

BTW-
Meet our driver... Joey Lagano. His nick name is "Sliced Bread", as in the greatest thing since.
Joey is the youngest driver to ever enter the Daytona 500 and holds many records for being the "youngest driver" to have many different accomplishments in the field of racing. He is only 19 now.
At age 18 he was racing in Delaware at Dover's Monster Mile Track when this happened.
When entering the contest I had to pick from several wonderful drivers, which was the hardest part because they are all so good!
I went with Joey because he is highly recommended by my favorite driver, Mark Martin.
But more importantly, he smiles a lot and you can tell just by listening to him that he is doing exactly what life is all about, and win or not, he is having fun!

Love Mark Martin too! If Tony can't win, I'd be tickled to see Mark there (my generation!)!!!
Maybe Tony could splat this teeny tick with his "favorite Goodyears!"
Joey is doing very well - it is too funny that Zippy has to pick the Budweiser for him at the Daytona Draw - oh well, he'll be 21 before you know it!

Hey Bird Brain! Yeah, you... Robin 4826584.
You MUST know I have NO ice cream in the house! You are just TRYING to make me crazy, huh?
Tutu... 1 out of 2 ain't bad. Unlike you, I forget to vote but I do check the numbers! So goes the saying.. with both our brains together we might have enough for one regular one!
Good deal Tracy! Thanks so much! We are getting a nice response and folks are having fun with it. That is great! I'll send out an update in a few days with a reminder for those of us who need a reminder!
TN... Yes, he can drive 180 mph for 3 or 4 hours straight and get paid to do it... but can't have a cold beer afterward! Too funny!
```````` Imagine.... thanks for checking and posting! I stopped in earlier on my way to do something and was able to get your update rather than having to go there. Great!
Yo Dill Pickle... I saw that note. So you need a reminder too? HA!
So I thought I'd check back in 24 hours later than last night, and what a difference a day makes -
now at 1378, which is almost 50% more than last night's 934, when you were wondering if you'd make 1000!
So, no ice caream? Well then, bird brain says snow cones will have to do for now, with any edible green liquid tossed on top...
Ha - just saw Bill's post - a little picture of what's going on - we're already 3 votes higher than three minutes ago - sorta like a leaky faucet...
I keep getting asked where we stand in the vote count. Since there is no way to check it from that view point... I have no clue.
Tonight I did a small random sampling and found that most cars (90% approx. guess) have under 100 votes.
I certainly can't go through 8,000 plus pages to check them all... but I did go through 400 pages to check. There were several with high votes.
Here are the results listing cars with more votes than ours has now in the 400 pages checked.
1457 for the green machine
50 for the tick machine
Sheesh....wondering how we can spread the word more so we can get the numbers pass the other cars.
Also thinking it would be great to have a child be the one who is able to ride in the car.
Thinking it would need to be a child that is no longer struggling with lyme disease
As the lights, smells, movement, sounds, etc would be just too much for someone still battling the disease.
I am sure Dr. Jones could help us out.
ok, just saw a car with just over 6,700 votes- "A'int Scared," number 8295. The voting on that car is closed.
seems a tall order to top that number, but we don't have to- just have to be in the top 10, and who knows anyway.. we still have time to go way higher....
vroommm...
There is no way of knowing Don. I did a search for cars that had to do with cancer....something like 16 pages of designs.
But, the few pages I looked at the numbers were low.
I also did a search for Chronic Fatigue, Fibro, MS, etc..and came up empty handed.
But, TC's car does not show when you do a search for lyme disease either.
